About Jennifer Bell

I believe the quality of every decision depends first on the quality of the thinking that comes before it.

I’m Jennifer Bell, founder of The Thinking Advantage™, where I help winery leaders make better decisions, align their teams, and unlock the collective intelligence already present within their organizations.

Too often, leadership teams are expected to solve increasingly complex problems while working in environments filled with interruption, urgency, assumptions, and pressure to have the right answer. The result is predictable: meetings that consume time without producing clarity, decisions that lack commitment, and talented people whose best thinking never reaches the table.

My work changes the conditions in which people think.

Drawing on the principles of the Thinking Environment®, I create spaces where leaders think independently, challenge outdated assumptions, listen deeply, and discover solutions together. Rather than bringing predetermined answers, I help organizations uncover the wisdom, creativity, and commitment that already exist within their teams.

For more than three decades I have worked as an educator, facilitator, coach, speaker, and organizational leader. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, completed over 140 hours of Time to Think® Group Facilitation and Leadership training and practicum, and have spent years helping individuals and groups develop clearer thinking, stronger relationships, and more purposeful conversations.

Today I focus my work with winery owners, executives, and leadership teams throughout Sonoma County through three signature services:

• Leadership Clarity Sessions™ — helping leaders gain clarity on complex challenges before taking action.
• Team Thinking Sessions™ — enabling teams to solve difficult problems together while strengthening alignment and commitment.
• Thinking Advantage Meetings™ — transforming the way organizations meet so that great thinking becomes part of everyday culture.

I believe every organization already possesses the intelligence it needs to solve its most important challenges. My role is to help create the conditions where that intelligence can emerge.

When I’m not facilitating conversations, you’ll find me kayaking, birdwatching, cooking, or enjoying a glass of Sonoma County wine with my husband, who has been a winemaker here for many years.
